About us

Khmelnytsky Higher Vocational School №25 is a multidisciplinary VET institution that provides high-quality training of specialists for the needs of the economy of the region and the state. The VET institution was founded in 1987 and over the years of operation has established itself on the regional educational market as a leading provider of vocational education and training.

The objective, tasks and main directions of the VET institution’s activity are determined by its charter.

The training of specialists is carried out in accordance with the licenses for conducting educational activities in the field of vocational education and professional higher education for the following sectors of the economy:

– road transport;

– electrical engineering and power engineering;

– mechanical engineering, metalworking;

– economy and administration;

– artistic products, art, design;

– IT sphere and computer graphics.

Student body

Educational services for obtaining full or partial professional qualifications are provided for graduates of general secondary education institutions, the adult population, internally displaced persons, persons with special educational needs.

The contingent of education seekers is 580 people:

Conditions have been created for the personal development and self-realization of students: social activities in the student youth council; classes in sports sections and clubs; participation in public initiatives and projects at the regional and all-Ukrainian levels; volunteer activity; meaningful leisure time.

A Qualification Center, a Professional Career and Career Counseling Center are operating on the basis of the VET institution, a STEM space is being developed, and an educational solar power plant has been installed.

Teaching Staff

The VET institution employs experienced and highly professional teaching staff – 58 people, of which 2 teachers have the scientific degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, 34 have a higher qualification category, 37 have teaching titles, 52 have more  than 10 years of teaching experience.

Project activity

Within the framework of the «TRANSFORM» consultative program under the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Research of Germany and with the active support of the Federal Institute of Vocational Education of Germany and the society named after Karl Duisberg, with the help of the company «Academy of Economics Dr. P. Rahn and Partner GmbH» in 1997, an educational and training center was created and continues to function at the VET institution – Educational and training company «Proskuriv», which made it possible to introduce innovative technology (simulation training) on the training of specialists for the field of business and entrepreneurial activity.

In cooperation with the NGO «Khmelnytskyi Energy Cluster» and with the financial support of the European Union, the project «Solar energy as a component of the educational process» was implemented from 2023-2024 on the basis of Khmelnytsky Higher Vocational School №25 with the aim of integrating issues of the transition to a green economy into the training of specialists in the field of energy.  An educational solar power plant has been installed at the VET institution; the content of the educational programs was supplemented with topics on alternative energy sources.

In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of using solar energy and further interest students in the transition to alternative energy sources, to popularize among the population the possibility of equipping their own yard with solar panels, the VET institution installed «solar benches» for charging mobile phones and tablets. This project was implemented in cooperation with the School of Climate Leadership of the NGO «Khmelnytskyi Energy Cluster» with the support Climate Action Network Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (CAN EECCA) in 2022.

Under the scientific guidance of the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, in 2017-2019, the VET institution conducted a national pedagogical study on the topic «Formation of career competence of future specialists in a vocational education and training institution». Based on the results of the work, the educational and methodological complex «Professional success and career», the manual «Formation of career competence of future qualified workers» was developed, the Center for professional career and career counseling was established in the structure of the VET institution.

• green and digital transformation;
• introduction of innovations in vocational education and training;
• increasing the attractiveness of vocational education and training;
• implementation of internationalization strategies of vocational education and training providers;
• supporting the response of European systems of vocational education and training to the war in Ukraine.
